Mr. Lee and his PE teaching team are using the summer term at Lansdowne School to teach athletics across all year groups. This is in preparation for the Lansdowne School Sports Day that will take place towards the end of term.
The full range of athletic activities are being taught. These cover running, jumping and throwing. Each discipline requires a different skill set. The pupils are being helped to improve their performance and enjoyment of each activity.
A recent Year 10 PE session had a focus on some of the more fun elements that take place during Sports Day. Events included the egg and spoon race, the three-legged race and the relay race.
