The Year 7 pupils at Lansdowne School have recently completed an ICT project involving designing and creating a personal comic. We used the web based software Britstrips for Schools to help achieve this.
Each pupil was asked to choose a setting, devise some characters and then think of a possible storyline that could be created. Speech bubbles were added to help explain what was happening.
Other year groups at Lansdowne School have also been working with the Britstrips for Schools software. This has led to a collaboration cartoon where all Lansdowne pupils appear as a character! This has been a great activity for encouraging co-operation amongst the different age groups.
