Class 10MN Maths Capacity Measurements

Class 10NM have been been working on measuring the capacity of different containers during our recent maths lessons.

An important part of this learning was to understand the units that we use to measure liquids. We looked at how these differ from other measurements such as length.

The students used the measuring beakers to measure different quantities of juices and water. The results were then recorded. After collecting all them we put them in order from the smallest to the biggest.

The final task was to make a rainbow drink. This contained certain quantities of liquids with different densities and colours. This was a very hands on maths lesson, as you can see from the photos below.
