Class 11NE have been working on different maths challenges. These are all set to challenge the specific learning needs of each student. Some of the class members have been working on sensory maths activities. These involve solving shape puzzles.
Number ordering is another activity. Students have been ordering numbers from 1 to 10, making sure that they count from left to right. This has led to counting in units of 10.
Another group has been focussing on solving subtraction in columns. A final set of students have been ordering numbers up to 1,000, and comparing numbers up to 1,000 to see which are greater and which are less than each other.
