The School Choir returned for the first rehearsal since the half term break. Music teacher Mr Gratton led the Choir through a vocal warm up. High and low notes were sung along a C major scale.
The students then continued with their work on learning Eye of the Tiger. This is a song that was introduced to the Choir ahead of half term. We are working towards preforming it at a whole school assembly.
Some familiar Choir favourites were then performed. Staff member Mikita had plenty of volunteers to help with the signing. The pupils chose to sing Jump, We are the Champions, Waving Flag and Tomorrow.
Mr Gratton closed the rehearsal by explaining that another new song will be learnt this term. There is a suggestions box in the music studio.
