We are very happy to welcome into our school three Year 12 students from La Retraite School in Balham. The students will be working with Lansdowne pupils of all age groups and supporting them with their work.
These sessions take place once a week. Our La Retraite guests have so far proven very useful in food tech and art lessons. They will be experiencing other curriculum areas at the start of the new term.
The Lansdowne after school clubs are also part of this project. Our visitors will be working with the staff and pupils as part of our existing clubs on offer.
We are hopeful that the students will then be able to manage their own after school clubs with support from Lansdowne staff.
We would like to thank the three students and the La Retriate staff who have helped to put this partnership in place.
