Class 10JH recently staged a whole school assembly themed around Mother’s Day. The students explained to our friends throughout the school why we celebrate this special day each year.
Some introductions started the assembly. Each class member had a speaking part. There was some very confident reading using the school microphone system.
The main part of our presentation featured a short video. Class 10JH have been researching and preparing this during our tutorial time.
All students featured in the video. We explored the history behind Mother’s Day and how the occasion has changed since it first began.
The Class 10JH assembly finished with each pupil explaining why they love their Mums. Some very personal messages were put across.
