Year 7 have been learning how to play indoor rounders after returning from the short half term break. Each PE session always starts with some light stretching, and then a WII dance warm up session.
PE teacher Mr Paine has been helping the pupils to understand the rules of indoor rounders. We have learnt how this is a game that requires good teamwork. The players need to work together so that the bases aren’t stacked up.
Year 7 have been using a large soft ball to help gain their confidence. The aim is to bat the ball away using our hands, and then try and complete a circuit around the bases.
All pupils had the opportunity to try the difference roles. These included batting, pitching and fielding.
