Class 7VP Reflections of the Year Assembly

Class 7VP celebrated the end of their first year at Lansdowne by staging a school assembly looking back over the past twelve months. Our presentation was called Reflections of the Year. We remembered some of the many highlights that have taken place at our school since September.

These included the election of the Head Girl and Head Boy, Year 12 work experience, hair and beauty courses, the football tournament, the official opening of the new Lansdowne building, a road safety trip, World Book Day, a talk by the community police, gardening club, training with the British Red Cross and our success at the Panathlon Games.

It has been a very busy year at Lansdowne School!

Each class member had a speaking role in the assembly. We heard some confident introductions as the young pupils addressed the whole school.

Short videos were then screened for each event in our school calendar. The Year 7 pupils have been interviewing other students about their memories in the past school year.

This was a fantastic way for Class 7VP to finish off their first year as members of our school community. The morning then got even better for the pupils when they were awarded the Star Class of the Week trophy!
