The Year 10 students are working towards various learning targets during our maths lessons. A couple of the students will be sitting their Entry Level maths exam in 2019.
Eight units need to be completed as part of the qualification. The students have successfully finished the first two. They are now working hard on the fractions part of the qualification.
Another group of Year 10 students have started to solve some money problems. They have ordered a sequence of numbers into the correct order. This task was made tricky by mixing up amounts written in pounds, and some amounts in pence.
A final selection of Year 10 students have focussed on their number line skills. Puzzles have been completed showing that they can order numbers from one to one hundred.
