Lansdowne School Achievement Assembly

Head of School Mr Jukes welcomed all students back to the first Achievement Assembly of the new school. We celebrated the news that we raised over £200 for the Brixton Soup Kitchen during our Winter Fair.

Mr Jukes explained that this was a great example of everyone at Lansdowne working together to benefit the community. We viewed the photos on the school website. Mr Jukes said that he was very proud of the students for their work.

The Lansdowne Choir performed two songs in the assembly. The Lions Sleeps Tonight and RESPECT. Stars of the Week awards were handed out alongside the Kindness awards. Pupil were praised for acts of kindness including supporting friends and helping at lunchtime.

Class 8AL won the the Star Class of the Week trophy. Many other classes have achieved an impressive 90% of their ticks. Class 8AL managed an amazing 100% for the first week back.

The assembly came to a close by singing Happy Birthday to three pupils who are celebrating this weekend.
