Lansdowne School Achievement Assembly

Our Friday Achievement Assembly saw students throughout the school being praised for their hard work. The Lansdowne Choir started the assembly with a couple of songs.

Class teacher Miss Pappa then explained more about the Lansdowne English challenge. All students are encouraged to take part in a competition leading up to the half term break.

The theme is to write a poem about Lansdowne School. Miss Pappa explained that this could be an acrostic poem, a rhyming poem or even a piece of writing containing some similes.

Science teacher Miss McNie also reminded students about the ongoing science challenge. This involves the students designing a poster that explains more about a special journey.

Stars of the Week certificated we handed out across each subject for the past week. Kindness Awards were presented to pupils for helping staff in the playground and showing great sportsmanship.

Class 12CM celebrated being named Star Class of the Week. Our assembly ended with the whole school singing happy birthday to Mr Lee.
