Year 13 have put their netball skills to the practical test with a game outside on the Lansdowne pitch. The students have built up to this with plenty of skills sessions during our PE lessons.
The students have worked on improving their shooting skills and passing techniques, as well as game tactics to help lose a marker. The outdoor game was a chance to put these into practice.
We have also looked at the rules of netball and how they differ to other sports. This was a friendly and supportive game that focussed on teamwork. Netball is a great sport that encourages all class members to play an active role.
