Year 10 are carrying out a thoughtful piece of PSE learning based around British values. We started our work by identifying what some of these may be. The pupils have looked at ideas such as democracy, the rule of law and mutual respect. Definitions have been provided for each concept.
A class discussion was held addressing how we are all different. The students were asked to think about physical appearances, personalities and some of the values that we hold. It was agreed that it is a good thing that we are all different.
The pupils then worked in pairs asking each other questions about British values. Answers were written down in speech bubbles.
Another group of Year 10 learners are thinking about the jobs that people do, and where each type of work takes place. They have matched job titles with the correct job location.
