The Year 11 Lansdowne students are busy preparing for their various humanities exams. GCSE pupils are focussing on Christianity and Islam as the two main religions for their exam. One focus is to explore issues around relationships.
Class teacher Miss Green has helped the pupils prepare for the exams by revising some of the key concepts. Flash cards are used to help with this. The task is to match up each word with the correction definition. Terms such as commitment, responsibilities and gender equality have all featured.
Another group of learners are completing coursework for their exams. A current theme is stories of people who were a part of the Windrush generation. A comprehension exercise has been completed using a piece of text to find the facts.
