The Year 7 pupils are reading their final class book for the school year. We have been looking at the story of Harry and the Dinosaurs.
The pupils have answered different questions about the plot. These include describing what is taking place in a picture, who the characters are and what might happen.
Plenty of verbal prompting is given from the teaching staff. Questions are asked to help the pupils with their communication ahead of the writing task.
All responses are written using a complete sentence. This work is supported with our daily phonics learning. The class members have now reached Level 4 Phonics.
Elsewhere in Year 7 and the pupils recently put on their final class assembly for the year. This was themed on wild animals. It fits in with our end of term trip to London Zoo!
