We are proud to publish a wonderful video made by Class 7KW with a little help from our friends at Chocolate films. The short film sees the young pupils enter into our Stockwell community and showcase some of the local landmarks.
Chocolate Films kindly agreed to partner up with our school to create the film. Class 7KW have researched local history and the concept of journeys. The combination of film and our local community was the perfect match!
A three day workshop took place at Lansdowne. The film professionals from Chocolate helped the pupils to learn more about the industry and new techniques. They were able to use professional film equipment and were given the opportunity to develop editing skills.
The film shoot itself took place on a single day. The nearby Christ Church was the base for the filming. Each location was visited with all class members given a role for the shoot.
The video was first premiered at the Year 13 Leavers Assembly. It received such a fantastic response that we thought it was worth sharing wider on the school website.
We would like to thank the team at Chocolate films for volunteering their time and working alongside Class 7KW.
