Pathways to college and employment
The post 16 two year course offers students the opportunity to gain nationally recognized qualifications which will allow them to enter vocational courses at Further Education Colleges which will, in turn, lead apprenticeship and, or employment.
Students will follow a vocational curriculum and will be working towards Level 1 and 2 accreditation over two years. The course covers the following subjects:
Health and Fitness Level 1 (Northern Council for Further Education)
Arts Award, Bronze and Silver
Health and Social Care Level 1 Award (CACHE)
ICT Entry Level 1 and 2
Maths – Functional Skills
English – Step up to English & IGCSE
Food Technology
