Support

As well as offering small class groups, which are well supported by a teacher and subject based teaching assistants, the school also supports pupils through the use of the Quiet Room and Sensory Room.

The Quiet Room, which is based in the little house is a part of the school where pupils can learn, or have quiet time to reflect, away from the main area of the school. It is run on the lines of a nurture group and enables pupils to continue learning if they are upset.

The newly adapted sensory room supports the sensory needs, teaching and learning and well-being of the pupils who have autism.
