Year 7 Medieval History Work

DSC02557

The Year 7 students at Lansdowne School have been continuing with their humanities work learning about life inside a Medieval castle. This research has now moved on to look at some of the jobs and roles that needed to be carried out in a castle.

The pupils have been arranging some pictures and words showing different daily activities into the correct sequence. We have seen how life in a Medieval castle starts at 4am for the servants, and ends at 10pm with the servants finally being able to go to bed.

Each class member then took part in an activity to show the correct time on a clock when an activity should be taking place. This work was also useful in helping the Year 7 pupils with their clock reading skills.
