Chicken kebabs have been the healthy meal option for our Year 8 pupils during recent Food Tech sessions. Our main aim here was for all pupils to understand how if cooked correctly, this can be an incredibly healthy meal with many different food groups being included in the ingredients.
As well as cutting up small cubes of chicken, we also added into our meal courgettes, spring onion and pita bread, plus a little sprinkling of mint to add some final flavouring. A large part of all Food Tech work at Lansdowne School is the self-assessment that we asked the pupils to complete as a conclusion. You can watch this being carried out in the video above.
