Attention has turned towards Christmas preparation during our weekly Singing and Signing assemblies at Lansdowne School. Miss Shelton has introduced some festive songs for all pupils to take part in.
The Lansdowne School Choir have been learning the words and signs for I Wish It Could be Christmas Every Day during our regular Wednesday choir rehearsals. This is a song that contains some new seasonal signs for some of the pupils – Santa Clause, Christmas and snow.

Miss Shelton then invited Kenny to come to the front of the assembly as he was recognised for being the Star Signer of the Week. Kenny chose the next song in our assembly as his reward: I’m Yours.
Miss O’Leary then rewarded pupils throughout the school with their achievement certificates across all subject areas. It was great to see a different selection of high achievers, showing that all students throughout the school are aiming to succeed in their learning.
