The Lansdowne School Council is continuing to meet at the end of each week with Executive Head Teacher Mrs. Adams. The Cllr’s are putting in place some genuine changes around the school. We ask each class representative to bring at least one idea to the meeting that they have come up with after conversations with their fellow class friends.
Ideas covered in a recent meeting included the lack of power in the school hand dryers, the possibility of buying some school bikes and setting up a cycle training scheme, extra summer outdoor play resources, and putting together a questionnaire to assess any improvements that could possibly be made to the school lunchtime menu.
The Cllr’s also fed back information to Mrs. Adams about the school tuck shop. This appears to be working well, although a few improvements need to be made.
