The Year 9 pupils at Lansdowne School have been enjoying their weekly guided number sessions. Each Friday the pupils play a number of different board games together. The aim is continue with the numbers and maths learning, but to present this in a friendly Friday afternoon session.
Games such as Animal Safari or Snakes and Ladders involve counting backwards and forwards around the board. This is also a great activity to help the students learn and understand some new rules for the games that are being played.
