The Year 10 students at Lansdowne School recently baked some incredibly tasty lasagnes during our food tech session. One of the main aims during this learning is to work together is small teams. The workload is divided up between the pupils with every team member playing a role.
Many different skills were needed as part of the lasagne preparation. Plenty of chopping, grating and measuring was required. The pupils were also asked to think about how best they could use their time. It is great to see the Year 10 pupils showing the initiative to tidy up their kitchen space whilst the lasagnes were being baked.
The end result was a selection of meat and vegetable lasagnes. We had a short tasting and evaluation session in the Lansdowne food tech space. The lasagnes were then taken home for our family and friends to share.
