Class 10NM staged a very thoughtful assembly addressing the current famine crisis in East Africa. The students have spent their class tutorial time researching what is taking place in countries such as Ethiopia and Somalia.
The history of the famine was explained. Each class member had a speaking part. It was great to hear confident reading taking place.
A short video was then played . Class 10MN then explained how people can offer any help. It was suggested that the Disaster Emergency Committee website is a good place to start. Mr Jukes congratulated Class 10MN on such a moving assembly.
