Year 10 have been improving their racket sport techniques during recent PE lessons. We are able to offer many different sports at Lansdowne School. The pupils have been playing badminton, table tennis, poly bat and table cricket. All of these sports enable students of all abilities to take part.
The pupils have been learning how co-ordination is the key to success for racket sports. Year 10 have been making sure that they keep their eye on the ball or shuttlecock when playing a shot.
A series of friendly, competitive games have taken place. Groups rotate around each work station. Each class member is asked to explain at the end of the lesson what they think they have achieved. Suggestions are also made about where future improvements might take place.
