Year 8 have been enjoying their weekly Friday PSE sessions. This is a time where the pupils can come together in a relaxed environment to help with their social skills.
Our current focus is to help the children become good team players. Activities are structured to show that we work better when we work together.
One of the fun challenges is to build a house of cards. The pupils have been very supportive of one another in trying to achieve this task.
Other PSE activities focus on some of the personal needs of each pupils. Some students have been working on their typing skills.
Another activity involves matching pictures of animals to the right environment. This requires cutting and sticking, both which help develop the fine motor skills.
