Our main English text for the summer term in Year 7 is Mrs Frisby and the Rats of Nimh. The pupils have been carrying out plenty of written work to help them remember the plot.
One activity has involved a storyboard being created independently. The idea was to to act as a resource to help recap our existing knowledge.
Each class member broke down the events in chapter 5 to write a series of sentences. Pictures were then drawn underneath to describe what is taking place. Staff members asked questions about the plot to help build upon the knowledge.
Drama will also help us with our learning for this book. We will be acting out some of the scenes as we continue with the plot.
