Year 11 finished off the school year with some fun maths activities. It may have been the final day of term, but some serious learning still took place!
Missing number problems was one of the activities. A worksheet containing questions such as 5+?=18 needed to be completed. This work was all colour coded to help with the learning.
Maths teacher Mr A helped the students with different techniques. Some of the pupils found that working with counting cubes helped with their sums.
The very final maths task of the school year involved a shape challenge using the pin boards. Elastic bands were placed on the boards to create a series of shapes. These developed from simple squares to some very technical star designs.
