ICT work in Year 7 has been building upon the recent Anti-Bullying Week. The pupils have been asked to design a poster using the school laptops that puts across a powerful anti-bullying message.
The students were given a choice of software to use. Some of the class members worked in Word, whilst others explored PowerPoint.
Each poster has some specific features that needed to be included: a heading, a message, a picture and a border.
The aim is to help the Year 7 pupils gain in confidence when using the school laptops. The students were encouraged to experiment with some of the software features to help manipulate their designs.
