The Year 13 Lansdowne students are completing their revision for the Health and Social Care exams that they will soon be sitting. The final few weeks have been used to focus on exam techniques and tips.
The pupils have been looking at past papers. Class teacher Miss McNie has explained that this is one of the best ways to prepare for an exam. Revision sheets have also been used at both school and as homework.
The students have been asked to share their ideas. We have been answering questions together and talking about how we would approach them in an exam situation.
One of the main themes in the syllabus is looking at the different life stages that we all experience. This is a challenging subject matter that requires empathy from the students.
