Year 10 have been concluding their maths learning for the summer term with various activities to refresh our knowledge. This is a mixed group of learners. The activities are designed to challenge the learning need of each pupil.
One group has been refreshing their time-telling skills. We have been using analogue and digital clocks. Recognising quarter past and quarter to were two key skills.
Another group of Year 10 pupils completed a maths challenge on the laptops that was timed. Rapid fire questions included double 8, how many months in a year and how many minutes in an hour.
Other challenges have looked at repeating patterns and dividing items into halves and quarters.
