The Lansdowne School Choir performed a brand new song during a recent singing and signing assembly. Choir Leader Mr Gratton has been helping the students with the words and signs for Katy’s Perry’s Roar.
A very enthusiastic debut for the song took place during the assembly. Staff member Mikita helped the Choir with some of the new signs that are in the song. A suggestion box for new song ideas is always available in Mr Gratton’s music studio.
The Lansdowne Choir then performed a powerful version of R.E.S.P.E.C.T. This is a Lansdowne favourite. It helps everyone to feel in the right mood ahead of our Friday morning learning.
Mr Gratton then introduced his ICT Christmas Tree competition. A tree has been decorated in the ICT suite. It contains some unusual decorations. All the items are ICT related. The students have been challenged to name as many of the decorations as they can.
A final announcement came from Mr Hilton. The Christ-maths Challenge is back this year! Pupils will take part in some problem solving during their tutorial time over the next twelve days.
Stars of the Week, Kindness Awards and the Star Class of the Week trophy were presented. Class 11JH achieved the highest number of ticks during the past week.
