We are pleased to welcome back to Lansdowne School our friends from Wheels for Wellbeing. This is a local charity that helps to make cycling accessible for everyone.
Wheels for Wellbeing are helping to run an after school club for students who have been invited to join the project. Each Thursday the school pitch is transformed into a cycling circuit.
A safety talk is given ahead of each session. The students are reminded that they need to wear a helmet if they are going to ride a two-wheeled bike.
The sessions are run to build up the confidence of each pupil. They are encouraged to experiment with the range of bicycles available.
We would like to thank the Wheels for Wellbeing volunteers who have helped to bring cycling to the Lansdowne School playground.
