Students throughout the school recently enjoyed a maths trip to ClueQuest. This is an escape room style adventure that requires logic and team work to be successful.
The aim was to develop our problem solving, communication and team work skills in an engaging and motivating setting.
Students were in groups of six. They had to work together to solve logic problems in to save the world from an alien who was trying to take control of the Earth!
They had one hour and so time was of the essence…
All our students demonstrated excellent thinking and cooperation skills and enjoyed the experience. We hope to repeat this experience next year with a different challenge.
This was the first time that we have organised a maths trip across year groups. It was great to see the Level 4 and 5 students all working together to learn and have fun.
