PSE lessons in Year 7 are helping the pupils to follow instructions, take turns and interact with our friends. This is all achieved in a fun environment by playing plenty of games!
One of the Year 7 favourite activities is the giant colourful parachute. This is a great resource for helping the pupils to work together.
Each class member holds one of the handles around the edge of the parachute. Instructions are then given such as make big waves or make fast waves. Another activity involves a pair of pupils exchanging places when their name is called out.
Other Year 7 PSE games include snakes & ladders and snap. Sessions usually finish with a game of musical statues. All these activities help the pupils to respond to instructions and work together as a team.
