The Year 11 students have been inspired by the Cricket World Cup! Our recent PE lessons have seen the students learning Kwick Cricket skills.
As the name suggests, this is a shortened and fast-paced version of the game. Once a batter is out they have two other chances to keep on improving their batting skills.
PE teacher Mr Lee helped the pupils to understand the rules. These involve running around a cone to try and score as many runs as possible.
We played our game with a large soft ball. This helped to make the activity accessible for everyone. Some spectacular catches took place out in the field!
Each Year 11 student was given the chance to try out the different roles. These included batting, bowling and fielding.
