Year 12 have helped to prepare for the Lansdowne Summer Fair by baking some tasty cakes to be sold during the afternoon. The students were given a free choice over which recipes to follow. Options included banana cake, carrot cake, Victoria sponge, chocolate cake, lemon drizzle and savoury muffins.
The is a very independent group of learners. The students were expected to follow their recipe sheets with little adult support. This included collecting the ingredients from the table and being responsible for using the oven. The end result was a fantastic selection of cakes ahead of the Summer Fair!
