Year 12 Science Trip to Seven Oaks Nature Reserve

Year 12 had a great time out at the Seven Oaks Nature Reserve in Kent. Our class field trip was organised as part of our Environmental Science topic.

The pupils were able to explore the reclaimed gravel pits at the reserve. Once the industry has moved on, these are then used to create a growing wildlife environment in the local area.

Follow up work for our field trip will continue back at Lansdowne School. The students will collect all the information and research from the day, and then write this up as part of their ongoing assessment.
