Year 8 are creating mythical creatures in art lessons out of clay. We have looked at the features of a werewolf to help inspire us with our designs.
The pupils worked together as a group following the instructions for each stage. This was a great exercise to help focus our listening skills.
Once the main skull was created we then focussed on each facial item. Eyes, ears and a nose were added. This involved using maths knowledge such as creating circular eyes or triangular ears.
The pupils were allowed to add some personal features to their models. This was a successful session that also helped the pupils with their sensory needs.
