Drama lessons for the Year 13 students have focussed on communication and team work. Drama teacher Miss Moorhouse usually starts with a Question of the Day. A recent question asked:
What is the one characteristic that you value in people?
We discussed what is meant by valuing the personality of our friends. Each class member then volunteered an answer. Some thoughtful answers were then heard such as respect, manners and trust.
A brief movement break followed. Year 13 are concentrating on improving their posture, breathing and balance.
It was then time for the drama games. Penguins is popular amongst the pupils. One class member has to move around the classroom as a penguin trying to sit in the empty seat. Other friends can swap seats to try and block this move. Team work is the key to success!
