Year 10 Japanese Art Ink Drawing

Year 10 are exploring different Japanese forms of art. The students are working with black pen and ink to create images inspired by a natural landscape. The only criteria for our artwork is that it must include one item associated with Japan.

The pupils are working well using the nibs of the pens. They are experimenting to see how you can change the brightness of our work with either thin or thick marks made by the ink nib.

Our next art topic in Year 10 will involve researching some of the painters associated with the Renaissance period.
