Class 13EM Raise Mental Health Awareness in Assembly

Class 13EM recently presented their final assembly as Lansdowne students. They chose to share the message of Time to Talk to raise awareness about mental health issues.

The students have researched this topic during their class tutorial time. They presented a series of slides and a short video.

Our presentation explained the importance of being able to talk about mental health, as well as being a good listener. By doing this we can end any stigma for people who are feeling ill.

Class 13EM also spoke about how we can take a positive approach to mental health at Lansdowne School. It was mentioned that there is always adult support if students feel the need to have a conversation.

The assembly finished by telling out friends to search for Time to Talk online. There are many resources available for support.
