Year 13 Work Together on Amazon Rain Forest Topic

The Year 13 students are working together to create a colourful Amazon rainforest piece of artwork. The aim is to design and build a tree trunk that shows many of the different animals that live in the rainforest.

Each student is completing their own individual section. We will then paste these together to show how we can all work together as a team.

The work started with the students having their own free choice about which animals, materials and colour scheme they wanted to use.

Some of the class members are helping out with the sewing machine. They are listening to the stop and start instructions whilst adults handle the sewing.

Other skills for this topic include threading a needle and various stitching techniques. We are looking forward to displaying our toucans, beetles, bats and sloths on the Year 13 tree chunk.
