The Year 10 students are learning about the role hormones play in helping our bodies to develop as part of their regular science learning. Recent work is focused on the menstrual cycle. The pupils have looked at the process involved.
One of our investigations is how we use hormones to affect our bodies. The students have described how hormones are used to control fertility.
Each class member has completed a science worksheet. A series of questions were answered covering subjects such as oral contraceptives, controlling fertility and IVF treatment.
Year 10 will soon take their first science assessment as part of their Entry Level qualification.
