Year 7 have been extending their French vocabulary to include a look at some of our favourite types of food. We asked the pupils to consider what food they enjoy eating. We then used the French learning resources that we have at Lansdowne School to look up the correct French word for each item of food. Working in small groups we practiced the pronounciation of the French words. We developed this work to construct a simple French sentence to explain what the name of our favourite food is. We then shared these thoughts with our other class friends.
