Looking around the School Garden

The Lansdowne School garden is well prepared for the winter season after some recent gardening sessions by our dedicated team. This is a very special quiet space where any students who are interested are encouraged to help with our growing.

Four flower beds have been planted for the season ahead. We are hopeful of growing cauliflower, broccoli, runner beans and cabbages. The students receive supervision and instructions when they are gardening, but we encourage independent work.

We are also very proud of the contribution that our Lansdowne gardeners have made at the Turney School allotments. Some of the Lansdowne students have been helping out our friends at Turney by offering advice and support at the allotment.

You can watch a short video above featuring our Chief Lansdowne Gardener.
